”Where is your company located?”

Designed in Stockholm, Lish Lash® launched march 2018 in and are currently distributing all over Scandinavia and across the world.

Lish Lash® takes false eyelashes to the next level with taking stance to the horrible industry of real mink fur and real silk lashes. And  we are promoting a sympathetic and sustainable future for both animals and humans.  The collection is designed by a team of motivated entrepreneurs that wanted to make the best product possible for consumers.  The eyelashes are hand-crafted with the highest quality and can be used up to 25 times.

”Is your product really vegan?”

This is a fairly new type of silk in the market, and it’s growing quickly in popularity. Bamboo is a simple plant to grow and is considered an easily renewable resource. Stalks can grow over 70 feet in a single year and require no replanting. You get many of the same characteristics from bamboo silk that many look for when they shop for regular silks, traditional silks are made from killing innocent silkworms . The smooth, silky feel of bamboo silk is similar, plus it naturally breathes well and is cool to the touch. Most of the bamboo silk products on the market at this time are a blend of both bamboo silks and art silks. They usually have a more textured look than traditional silk. One of the many reasons bamboo is becoming more popular in a wide variety of products is that it is easy to grow and has hypoallergenic and antimicrobial properties.

”Why don’t vegans wear real silk?”

Vegans try to avoid harming and exploiting animals, which means that vegans do not use animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, fur, leather, wool or silk. Dropping silkworms into boiling water kills the worms and probably causes them to suffer — depending on whether or not they actually can experience suffering, scientifically.

Even eri silk or Ahimsa silk are problematic because they involve the domestication, breeding and exploitation of animals. Adult Bombyx mori silkmoths cannot fly because their bodies are too big compared to their wings, and adult males cannot eat because they have underdeveloped mouth parts. Similar to cows who have been bred for maximum meat or milk production, silkworms have been bred to maximize silk production, with no regard for the well-being of the animals.

‘What does Lish mean?”

Lish – A person who is very gorgeous, smart and irresistable. Don’t take no shit from no one either.

1. Curl

Curl your eyelashes.

2. Measure and cut

Hold the lash strip up to your eye to check length. Trim the band from the outer corner of the lash strip if necessary.

3. Shape

Hold both edges in a U-shape for a few seconds to bend the lashes.

4. Glue

Apply adhesive along the band and wait 30 seconds.

5. Set

Secure the lashes by pressing onto the lash line. You can use a tweezer if necessary.

6. Mascara

Finish with one coat mascara to blend the eyelashes together with your own lashes. Fill up with eyeliner if any gaps appear.

Sizing Your Lashes

If you are using a strip, size them to your eye and then trim them down with cuticle scissors. Strips that are too long are incredibly hard to maneuver.

Putting Them On

Remember to practice—no one gets it right their first time! First, squeeze a drop of adhesive on the back of your hand and use a cuticle stick to lightly dab on the glue to the lash. Wait about 30 seconds for the glue to get tacky, then lay the strip on the outer edge of your eye, as close to the lash line as possible. Make sure the angle of your false lashes is the same as the angle of your own lashes. Use 1-2 coats of mascara to blend.

Taking Them Off

When it comes to removal, use an oil-free eye makeup remover to soften the glue and then allow the lash to slide right off. Easy, right?

Storing Your Lashes

You might not know this, but—yes!—false eyelashes can be reusable. Make sure not to use any oil-based cleansers on the lash, as that will make additional uses very difficult (adhesive does not like to attach to an oily surface). Peel any remaining pieces of glue off the lash and use eye makeup remover and a Q-tip to clean it more thoroughly. Store your lashes in a clean plastic container and they’ll be ready for your next big night out!
